Renaissance (1400 CE - 1575 CE)

The Renaissance was a time period in European society where many changes occurred beginning in the fourteenth century. That is why the time period was named The Renaissance which is a French term that means "rebirth". During the renaissance many things changed, the study of classical learning, popularized by the Italian poet and Latin Scholar Petrach. During this time period there were many wealthy patrons such as the Medic family of Florence, the Sforza family of Milan, Pope Leo X, and Pope Julius II. Leonardo Da Vinci represented the true meaning of Renaissance along with Michaelangelo and Raphael.
